NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that requests for proposals will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts for LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES FOR AB 1572 COMPLIANCE PROJECT

 

DESCRIPTION: The Districts operates the A.K. Warren Water Resource Facility, which currently contains approximately six (6) acres of non-functional turf. In compliance with the requirements of AB 1572 and applicable water efficiency regulations, the Districts intends to remove and replace this turf with a water-efficient and operationally appropriate landscape design.

 

Landscape architectural services are required to support the planning, design, regulatory compliance, and implementation of this turf conversion project. The selected firm will be expected to coordinate closely with Districts staff to develop a compliant, sustainable, and maintainable design suitable for an active operating facility.

 

This Request for Qualifications is issued for a specific project subject to AB 1572 and is intended to identify the most qualified firm with relevant experience. The Districts intends to negotiate the scope of services and compensation with the highest-ranked firm and award a professional services agreement for the project.

 

By participating in this RFQu, Responders confirm their ability to supply liquid defoamant in the quantities, specifications, and terms described herein. The Districts reserves the right to prequalify none, one, or multiple vendors based on test results, hazardous ratings, and other prequalification criteria.

Vendors determined to be qualified under this RFQu will be notified and advanced to the ITB stage.
