Preliminary Bid Results

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that requests for proposals will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts for FURNISH AND DELIVER SODIUM HYDROXIDE SOLUTION AND CALCIUM HYDROXIDE SLURRY- RE-BID

 

DESCRIPTION: The Districts are currently soliciting bids from qualified suppliers to furnish and deliver sodium hydroxide for a one-year period. The Districts use sodium hydroxide and calcium hydroxide to control odors and corrosion by reducing the hydrogen sulfide in the wastewater collection system. The Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (Districts) is soliciting bids for three items of work:

1) furnishing 1,000 dry tons of sodium hydroxide without delivery service for a one-year period

2) furnishing, transporting and discharging approximately 1,000 dry tons of sodium hydroxide or calcium hydroxide at specified locations for a one-year period,

3) furnishing, transporting and discharging approximately 1,000 dry tons of sodium hydroxide to the Valencia Water Reclamation Plant
