NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that requests for proposals will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts for EVENT PRODUCTION SERVICES FOR EARTH DAY 2026

DESCRIPTION: The Sanitation Districts are planning to host their Earth Day 2026 event on April 11, 2026, at the parking lot of the Joint Administration Office. Event production services and rentals are needed to guarantee the continued success of the event. The purpose of this RFP solicitation is to enable selection of the most qualified event production company to assist in the production of the Sanitation Districts’ Earth Day 2026 event. Every year since 2007 (except for COVID-19 impacted 2021-2022), the Sanitation Districts have hosted an Earth Day event at the parking lot of their Joint Administration Office, located at 1955 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601. The event benefits the surrounding communities and provides a venue for discussing environmental issues that impact the public. The event is both entertaining and educational, providing attendees with information and` hands-on activities to help them conserve natural resources and protect the environment. The event is free to the public and features exhibitors, earth-friendly arts and crafts, tours of the Sanitation Districts’ facilities, food, environmental workshops, and entertainment such as music and dance performances. 

A mandatory pre-qualification requirement mandatory job walk is scheduled for:

Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 10:00 am. OR Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Joint Administration Office, located at 1955 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601.
