NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that requests for proposals will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts for LONG BEACH WATER RECLAMATION PLANT – AERATION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT

 

DESCRIPTION: Operations is soliciting proposals from ESCOs to provide energy service and improvements on the LBWRP existing aeration system, which includes PACs, air distribution piping, diffusers, baffles, mixers, biotrickling filters, associated instrumentation and controls, foam spray, and other improvements at the plant (“Aeration System”) that can save energy, reduce costs, increase production of recycled water, and ensure continued compliance with increasingly stringent regulatory requirements (“Services”). For this RFP, “ESCO” refers to any entity qualified to provide a turn-key utility conservation program that includes the services and requirements set forth in this RFP.
