The Districts has only authorized QuestCDN to distribute the Bid Documents, in electronic formats, for use by bidders. The Districts does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of Bid Documents obtained from any source other than QuestCDN, unless otherwise noted, and any use of such documents by prospective bidders or others for any purpose is solely at the bidders’ risk. Only those bidders that have obtained and properly downloaded the Bid Documents from QuestCDN will appear on the Planholders list and may submit a bid.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that requests for bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts for PREQUALIFICATION TESTING OF LIQUID DEFOAMANT

 

DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQu) is to identify and prequalify vendors capable of supplying liquid defoamant that meets the Districts’ performance and specification requirements. This is the first step in a two-step procurement process:

  1. Prequalification Stage (RFQu) – Responders submit qualification materials and product samples for evaluation and field performance testing. Vendors should review the specifications carefully before submitting; samples should not be provided if the listed requirements cannot be met.
  2. Bidding Stage (ITB) – Only vendors that successfully pass prequalification and meet the Districts’ specifications will be invited to submit price proposals under a future Invitation to Bid (ITB).

By participating in this RFQu, Responders confirm their ability to supply liquid defoamant in the quantities, specifications, and terms described herein. The Districts reserve the right to prequalify none, one, or multiple vendors based on test results, hazardous ratings, and other prequalification criteria.

Vendors determined to be qualified under this RFQu will be notified and advanced to the ITB stage.
