Puente Hills MRF Recycle Center
Turn in your recyclable materials for cash at the Puente Hills Material Recovery Facility (MRF) Recycle Center located near the Pomona (60) and San Gabriel River (605) freeways (see map above). The facility is a buy-back recycling center, which allows you to sell your qualified recycle products for the published California Redemption Value (CRV) and/or scrap value (see price table below). The Puente Hills MRF Recycle Center purchases CRV containers (aluminum cans, plastics soft drink bottles, glass bottles), and pays competitve scrap rates for aluminum, cardboard, and most paper products.
The Puente Hills MRF Recycle Center also accepts "free drop off" of scrap metal products and scrap plastic products (old plastic lawn furniture, toys, plastic sheeting, etc.). In addition, you can also turn in old electric products you want to discard (TVs, computers, etc.) in our free e-waste bins. The Puente Hills MRF Recycle Center also offers free document shredding service, so bring your documents to the Puente Hills MRF Recycle Center and place them into a locked and secured container for destruction by a certified document shredding company.
The facility does not accept used oil at this time. You can locate the nearest used oil recycling facility by clicking here. This link will take you to the CalRecylce web page for its used oil recycling program.
