WASTE DISPOSAL ORIGIN REPORTS (WDORS Reporting System)
This Reporting System is required by the County of Los Angeles and is intended to assist them in their efforts to comply with state-mandated waste diversion requirements. The Reporting System includes a requirement that nearly all users of the Puente Hills Landfill and Puente Hills MRF need to submit a form at the scales when delivering refuse that lists the site addresses of EVERY pick-up location.  For further information for each site, click on the respective link below.

SOILS ACCEPTANCE PROGRAM
The Sanitation Districts will no longer require forms and pre-approval for clean dirt loads at any of our landfills. Forms and pre-approval are required for the acceptance of contaminated soil.  Click on the link above for more information.

GREENWASTE LOAD REQUIREMENTS
The Sanitation Districts’ green waste program successfully diverts significant quantities of green waste for use as mulch and “alternative daily cover” (ADC). State legislation ensures that cities will be able to continue to count green waste ADC towards AB939 diversion goals. Information about the Districts' procedures on acceptance of green waste material for the landfill uses is available by clicking on the link above.

POST CLOSURE ACTIVITIES
The Sanitation Districts continue to monitor and maintain the environmental controls at the following closed landfills:
