Thank you for your interest in employment with the Sanitation Districts. Our work force consists of more than 200 job classifications. Occupations range from professional engineering, computer and lab sciences, to technical and administrative specialties, as well as skilled trades, equipment operations and facilities maintenance work. Districts’ benefits vary based on employment category, but all full-time employees are covered by the California Public Employees' Retirement System and are exempt from the 6.2% contribution to Social Security.
