Districts' Transfer/Materials Recovery Facilities Waste Disposal Origin Reporting System

South Gate Transfer Station, DART and Puente Hills Materials Recovery Facility

The Reporting System is required by the County of Los Angeles and is intended to assist them in their efforts to comply with state-mandated waste diversion requirements. The new Reporting System includes a requirement that nearly all users of the South Gate Transfer Station, Downey Area Recycling and Transfer Facility (DART), and the Puente Hills Materials Recovery Facility will need to submit a form at the scales when delivering refuse that lists the site addresses of refuse originated from unincorporated Los Angeles County areas.
