(2) All rates and surcharges include the L.A. Co. Business License Tax:10% of gross receipts, excluding state and local fees and taxes
(3) All rates and surcharges include the City of Glendale - Scholl Canyon Landfill Assessment:25% of gross receipts; vehicles owned and operated by the City of Glendale are exempt
(4) Call facility regarding AB939 transformation credit calculation for wood/textile; Rates effective August 3, 2009 and subject to change pursuant to Commerce Refuse-to-Energy Facility Operating Agreement.
(5) Rate effective July 1, 2009; rates subject to change pursuant to SERRF Joint Powers Agreement.
(6) The proposed rate will be considered for adoption on January 13, 2010.

(7) High Energy Waste means waste that generates high amounts of energy refuse, such as dry scrap wood, textile waste, unrecyclable paper and cardboard, and additional materials that cannot be recycled. Rate effective October 1, 2009.

(8) USDA Regulated Waste is the destruction of regulated foreign waste in accordance with the regulation of the United States Department of Agriculture ("USDA") and the terms of the Facility USDA compliance agreement.
