JOINT OUTFALL "H" UNIT 1D TRUNK SEWER REHABILITATION — The work consists of the rehabilitation of approximately 3,900 feet of 63-inch and 100 feet of 66-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe Joint Outfall "H" Unit 1D Trunk Sewer with a cured-in-place pipe liner including rehabilitation of manholes and all appurtenant work. The project is located in the Cities of South Gate and Bell Gardens.
MARINA NO. 3 PUMPING PLANT FORCE MAIN NO. 1 REPLACEMENT AND FORCE MAIN NO. 2 (Mandatory walk-through location: 650 Ximeno Avenue Long Beach, CA 90804) — The project consists of the construction of approximately 2,770 feet 18-inch diameter, high density polyethylene force mains and appurtenant structures.
PUENTE HILLS LANDFILL GAS COLLECTION SYSTEM-2010 (Mandatory walk-through location: Puente Hills Landfill Field Office 2800 S. Workman Mill Road Whittier, CA 90601) — The proposed project consists of constructing approximately 13,000 linear feet of gas collection trenches, 4,600 linear feet of gas collection header, 8 gas trench-to-header connections and 1 main haul road crossing. All landfill gas collection trench installation will be conducted beneath the odor control tent.
PUENTE HILLS LANDFILL IRRIGATION SYSTEM-2010 — The proposed project consists of installation of an irrigation system utilizing reclaimed water and landscaping of approximately 20 acres of landfill slopes with a native seed mix, and all appurtenant work.
LANDFILL GAS WELLS AT VARIOUS DISTRICT LANDFILLS-2010 — The work consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, call-outs to construct the following types of landfill gas collection wells at any of the five landfills including 24-inch diameter auger drilled wells in soil conditions and 30-inch diameter auger drilled wells in refuse conditions, and all other appurtenant work. Bidders are advised that the District cannot guarantee any specific number of call-outs and that the number of call-outs is at the sole discretion of the District. In addition, the District cannot guarantee any specific number of wells to be installed or guarantee the type of wells to be installed. The number of wells to be installed and the type of wells installed is at the sole discretion of the District. This contract will expire July 1, 2012. The Contractor is obligated to complete any work associated with a call-out that occurred before July 1, 2012. The project is located at Calabasas LF, 5300 Lost Hills Rd., Agoura 91301; Palos Verdes LF, 25706 Hawthorne Blvd., Rolling Hills Estates 90274; Puente Hills LF, 13130 Crossroads Pkwy. So., City of Industry 91746; Scholl Canyon LF, 3001 Scholl Canyon Rd., Glendale 91206; and Spadra LF, 4125 W. Valley Blvd., Walnut 91789. The work of construction for the auger-drilled wells shall be completed within 1 WORKING DAY per 100-foot section of well plus 5 ADDITIONAL WORKING DAYS per call-out after the date in the Notice to Proceed. Twenty (20) calendar days will be provided to respond to each call-out.
