Join us on Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. for Earth Day 2008! This is a free community-wide event that seeks to promote environmental awareness and education for the whole family. The event features educational booths, interactive workshops, arts and crafts, activities for children, and entertainment such as music, an environmental magician, and more. Learn what you can do to conserve and protect the environment!
Earth Day 2008 will be held at the Sanitation Districts Joint Administration Office Parking Lot, located at 1955 Workman Mill Road in Whittier. Event parking will be located at 13181/13191 Crossroads Parkway North. Shuttle service will be provided. Please click here for an event flyer with a map and directions.
