NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the County Sanitation District No. 2 of Los Angeles County for SWITCHGEAR FOR JOINT WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT (JWPCP) POWER SERVICE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF EFFLUENT OUTFALL TUNNEL.

DESCRIPTION: Furnish one 38-kV utility metering switchgear and one underground service termination pull section including labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals required for delivery, installation, construction, field services, start-up and commission testing, submittal requirements, seismic requirements, structural anchorage, factory tests, training, and manuals per Districts' Specifications dated January 2018.

All bids shall be accompanied by a bidder's surety equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond from an admitted surety, made payable to "County Sanitation District No. 2 of Los Angeles County."
The successful bidder shall be required to provide good and sufficient bonds for the faithful performance of the work. Bonds shall be delivered to the Purchasing Office of the County Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County within seven (7) days of award of purchase order.
The successful bidder shall be required to provide certificates of general liability, worker’s compensation, and automotive liability insurance prior to beginning work. The "County Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County" shall be named as additional insured.
